We'd love you to sign up to our weekly veg box mailout!

Solidarity veg boxes

To support our work in communities across Brighton and Hove, you can buy a veg box from us. This means that with every purchase of seasonal, healthy fruit and veg, you are helping us to continue providing affordable weekly food shops and tackle food insecurity.

The veg boxes are supplied by Rock Farm, a working market garden, community space and horticultural therapy project on the 6-acre site near Steyning and Horsham operated by One Church Brighton. From farm to fork, these veg boxes are filled with social as well as nutritional goodness!

How does it work?

Each week you can choose to buy a single box or a few weeks in advance.

  • Order online by 12pm Monday for collection on Thursday

  • Collect your veg box from Hollingdean Community Centre between 5-7pm on Thursday

  • Orders for the next week re-open 7pm Thursday

  • If you sign up for the newsletter, you can expect this in your inbox every Friday to keep you updated on what is in season as well as other news (and of course a reminder to get your order in!)

In every box, Rock Farm prioritises fruits and vegetables that are local and organic or biodynamic, where possible. Across the growing seasons the veg boxes will include more salads and greens directly from the farm.

If there are certain fruits or veg you do not want, please leave us a note during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your wants and needs!
