Are you a reliable, enthusiastic, organised people-person with a passion for making the world a better place? Then BrightStore would love to have you on the team!

We are recruiting for a store lead to cover both our Whitehawk store and our Hollingdean store; to be the main point of contact on the days of opening, and to support our volunteers and members to have the best experience possible.
​​
17 hours per week, to be worked mainly on a Tuesday (Hollingdean’s store day) and Thursday (Whitehawk’s store day) plus attendance at weekly team meeting (usually Monday, online), and time for admin and other duties as necessary.
​​
The role currently runs until 31st August 2026; with the aim of it being an ongoing role (funding dependant).

Steering Committee Members (Voluntary)
We've been recruiting to our Steering Committee from the beginning of 2025.
​
We are actively recruiting for as diverse a group as possible.
We would especially welcome anyone under 35, from the LGBTQ++ community or from a diverse background to join us.
​
We will meet every other month to review our progress as a team, towards a varied range of projects. Speak to the store lead where you shop or get in touch if you'd like to explore joining us.
